I was there for a weekend from 29th of june until 02th july, the Hotel look like a doll house, the rooms and the place are little but very confortable and the stuff is very kind.. you can taste the real flavoure of a family situation. The position is perfect, very close to the metro and just behind the hill of montmartre, and also the quartier is very nice and so full of life! This was the first time that me and my friend went to Paris...and I hope to come back soon, and I think I will come back in this very nice hotel I just can say Goodbye to the next time and good job to all the stuff!

We stayed at this hotel in June 2006. It is an excellent location- the Jules Joffrin metro station is a short walk away, and Sacre Couer is a short but uphill hike away! There are good local shops, nice fruit markets, patisseries and a fair share of brasseries & bistros. The staff put us to shame with their excellent English and were always friendly & helpful. The lift is ridiculoulsy small so you'll need to breathe in and giggle! The rooms were cleaned every day& there were always clean, fresh sheets & towels. The room was quite small, but it had a bed and a nice clean shower- what more do you want? The only problem some people might have is the traffic & street noise, but we quite liked the energy and hustle & bustle of Parisienne life!! We would definitely return to this hotel.

Just got back from a four day stay in Paris at Hotel Eden & thought we'd share our thoughts. We've read elsewhere on other websites reviews giving not so glowing reports of this hotel.........Take no notice !! The majority of negative reviews have been from American travelers who obviously are expecting The Ritz.....well not at these prices you ain't going to get it !! From a UK travellers perspective (& well travelled too) this hotel was just great. Very near the metro (you can get from CDG to the hotel in approx 1hr very cheaply) the staff are very helpful (you can get a hot/cold drink ANYTIME for 1.50E) speak good english (although try a bit of GSCE French on them, they appreciate it.) The room we had (No.34) was small & you had to live out of your suitcase, the shower was always hot, there was always clean towels, the sheets were clean & "crisp". Ok the decor was a bit dowdy & tired BUT you're there to go out & explore not question the interior design !! If you really must sit in your room, fling the large windows open & listen to the hustle of the typical Parisien street below you, whilst having a cheeky cheapo Vin Rouge & a delicious pastry (check out the street running parallel with the BACK of the hotel.....some great little shops) So in short....a great base to explore from with everything an open minded traveller could ask for, just enjoy it for what it is !! or......waste your valuable holiday Euros money the Hilton !!

I work in the entertainment business in Los Angeles… and travel almost every week on business. When I work in Europe, I use the Eden Hotel Montmartre as my home away from home. The rooms are larger than most other comparably priced hotels in Europe (Americans always expect something bigger… but that is just not reality, as any seasoned traveler knows). The staff speaks good English and has always gone out of their way to help. The location is only a block and a half from the Jules Jofrin Metro Station… where you can easily access any major attraction in Paris in only minutes. Just a five minute walk up the hill is the famous Montmartre artists’ district, restaurants… and the fabulous Sacre Coeur church (one of the most famous landmarks in Paris). Another thing that I really like at the Eden Montmartre is the continental breakfast in the lobby each morning. Great French croissants and good coffee! The hotel owner and his wife seem to take pride in seeing that each guest is treated really well. For the price (which is very reasonable) this is a really great place and a great value in a really fun and interesting neighborhood. One can easily get from the hotel to Charles de Gaulle Airport or the Gare du Nord train station by a very quick (and inexpensive) cab ride… or for about $3.00 by regional train and the Metro. I will be going back to Paris next month and will staying at this hotel again.
